Dear Parents and Carers,

At Carlton Church of England Primary School, we believe happy children learn best when pupils feel safe and supported, they gain confidence to explore all opportunities.  Our ethos?   Happy children thrive!

Choosing the right school is a big decision. We aim to provide a secure, enriching environment that inspires a lifelong love of learning and a positive ‘can-do’ attitude in every child.

Every child deserves the best education. Our excellent facilities include spacious classrooms, a forest school, swimming pool, large fields, and a well-resourced playground. This year, we’ve added a sensory and intervention room to support children’s emotional well-being.

We value hard work and celebrate success in many ways—through our ‘Values Tree,’ Golden Book, certificates, and Class Dojo rewards. Achievements are shared weekly in our Celebration Assembly.

Our strong partnership with families ensures the best outcomes for pupils. Our Behaviour Policy—Be Ready, Be Respectful, Be Safe—underpins a warm, supportive school culture that is rooted in Christian and British values, Our ambitious curriculum promotes excellent behaviour and positive attitudes, supported by staff, governors, parents, and the community.

We warmly invite you to visit us and experience first hand the nurturing ethos, strong community spirit, and family values that make our school so special. We are committed to helping your child reach their full potential.

Please do book an appointment through the office, where I will look forward to meeting you.

Warmest regards
